Johnny’s Got His Gun

As I listened to you all tonight talking about people with quadrapalegia, or other severe disabilities; and about how these people would want a robotic body if possible, I could not help but think of a Movie called Johnny’s Got His Gun.

This was true story about a young soldier during the first world war who was hit by a mortar fire. This strike left him with no arms, no legs, and no, face. Meaning no mouth, nose, or eyes.

He was kept alive, and because his injuries were so gruesome he was kept in the basement of a hospital so other patients would not have to see him.

This movie was made in protest to the war. I would not want to live a maimed life as he had. And today in the movies we see the modification of this concept with Star Trek and robo-cop.

Could Bio-engineering substitute a human body? This would be an alternative for those like Johnny that need a helping hand or two.

I was thinking about having my foot amputated. How I would be immediately looked at as a crippled. How perceptual limitations would always be my forerunner. How no man would want a woman that hopped around the house on one leg. As I thought about that I realized that I pretty much would give up on relationships. So I would give up on a part of my life then. It seems that when loosing a limb there is alot more at stake than just that limb.

I was once in a relationship with an amputee. It’s funny, I never perceived his disability as forefront when with him as his personality and character were always so strong and complete. I think it would be harder for a woman as a woman is already labeled as a weaker version of a man, that’s one strike against you already.

I thought about a metal post coming out of my calf and extending to a shoe full of metal plate; I felt ashamed for the way my son would see me.

Then I realized how strong he is having a disability himself. How disabled people that survive are the ones that are made to feel they have a reason to live because they know they are loved despite their limitations.

Would a robot be able to have those feelings? I don’t know. Or would it be like Johnny, a mind in a voided out body. Hummmmm…… I still don’t know. Maybe I wouldn’t want to, unless perhaps I was Johnny.

Daniel’s Fourth Year As President

This chapter shows us just how far people have come in the world they live. The 12 former students of Miss Annabelle continue to grow and bring about biological immortality. Their biggest superpuzzle is nearly approaching. They are constantly striving and will not stop until it is achieved. Their love for mankind is what started it all and is still guiding them. Just imagine the C of U and believe it, it will happen.

Daniel As President Chapter 69

Daniel discusses how the world is changing and how the politicians are still trying to hold onto what power that they have left. Daniel knows just how many people are no longer in favor of the politicians. As the prosperity of the people grows, so does the sentiment of just how damage the politicans have created such a mess of everyone’s lives.

Daniel As President Chapter 66

The politicians show in this chapter just how far they will go to keep all the power and the control over the people. Their dishonesty, lies, and deception go way beyond anything that most people could ever see. They must be stopped! With honesty and love, we can expose all of that. This is why we are here, to build a better world for everyone.

Chapter 66

Tonight’s call showed us just how the politicians will go to keep their power and control and lie to the American people. As Mark Hamilton said, love and honesty will work and lies and dishonesty. We as American people need to see past the illusions and not allow the politicians to continue to make problems where there aren’t any. The time is right and the time is now to make it happen and slowly, one person at a time. I learn so much from the mentor calls and not just from the cast, but things that I don’t know that I need to pay attention to and I haven’t done that in the past. I will continue to listen and to grow. I am grateful for everything that I have in the Neothink Society.

Daniel with the President

This chapter deals with the President making the Senator aware of his actions and how he cannot threaten or hurt Daniel or his family. What an Anticivilization we live in now. The good news for us is that here in the Society can and will change the politics in this country. Thank you for this opportunity.

Daniel as president

What this chapter shows is just how the government really works. How government has gotten way too comfortable and now does exactly what it wants. This is indicative of how we as American people can and must change this country and the world. It is even more important than ever.

From Ellen to Mentor

Thank you so much for that integration. It is much appreciated. I feel right now that I am behind because I haven’t read the Superpuzzle. I also have not been in politics and feel that I am behind the 8-ball. It has been made clear to me by being a member in the Society, how much I have been lacking in information and how easy it is to not care and do nothing and just let things happen. My eyes have been opened and I need to really pay attention and listen and grow.

From the Mentor to Ellen:

I replied x2 each to your last 2 posts below, and it did not go through. Perhaps this message will. I won’t retype the same posts I made, but want you to know I received those 2 you made.

In brief, those in power have gotten used to “their reality” and being able to direct the actions of the USA in the secrecy that these top-level decisions are made in, not to be discerned by anyone looking for the “truth”, that they have come to feel invulnerable to detection…

Thank you for caring and voicing your appraisal here. You are appreciated!!!

Love,
