We Are Spiritual Immortals

Anyone who thinks things through carefully can see that it is not the body that thinks, because the body is merely the material shelter for our inner being.

Rather, it is the soul – the inner being. The human soul, that is our spirit, whose immortality is a topic of many authors, is in fact immortal in all respects, and it is also our essence. It is what does the thinking in our bodies.

This is because it is spiritual and the spiritual is open to the spiritual and lives spiritually through thought and intention. So all the rational life we can observe in our bodies belongs to the soul and none of it to the body.

Actually, the body is material, it is the matter that comprises the human body as if an addendum to it, something like a physical form and in this way an attachment to the spirit.

Its purpose is to enable our spirit to lead its life and perform its services in a natural world that is material in all respects and essentially lifeless if you perceive that it is the will to live that keeps the physical progressing through the motions of living life.

In this way some may conclude that whatever is alive in us is our spirit and that the body only serves it exactly the way a tool serves a live and activating force.

We may say that a tool works or moves or strikes; in this way of thinking many will take no responsibility for their thoughts and actions. But it is a mistake to believe that thoughts and actions are simply a property of the tool and not of the person who is wielding it, or the power behind its motion.

Since everything that is alive is the inner being of the body, everything that acts and feels because of life belongs to the spirit alone and none of it belongs to the body, it follows that the spirit is the actual person.

In other words, we are essentially spirits and have much the same form as well. It is our Iness that makes us the I am part of living as we develop in and through our particular life lessons.

Everything that is alive and sensitive within us belongs to our spirit, and there is nothing in us, from head to toe, that is not alive and sensitive. This is why when our bodies are separated from our spirits, which is called dying, we still continue to be human and to be alive.

As we walk this planet towards developing our inner being; the longer we maintain our material container, the body, the longer amount of time do we have to develop our inner being – our true self towards those thoughts and actions that bring forth more of life and more to the living.

Just as with the embryonic state, we are birthed into being; so too does our inner being through its own immortality influence all life that is within its reach. If we can learn to tap into that which is immortal within us we can then open doors to limitless potential both in this existence and that which is far reaching and beyond. We can bring about the rebirth of the inner child which is immortal indeed.

“Let the children come to me, and do not forbid for such is the kingdoms of the heavens.”

Chapter 41 Superpuzzle

I want to let everyone know that It’s such a relief to be with everyone on these calls, as I have always felt so alone!
I really enjoyed tonight’s discussion and I would like to think that we would have our essence captured after we give up our worldly bodies and reintroduced to the world as a new life experience.
Whitley Strieber wrote about this, but Immortality is better.

Thank You so much for finding me!

Chapter 39-Self Honesty

We cast members had the chance to share in round table format ,what we gained from this chapter. We were encouraged to present to our panel @ least one question. Well, I had four. Of the four, it was the question I asked about yielding to manipulated truth, that caused me to enter the 360 mirror room. It was while in this space, I faced the me that yielded to manipulated truth–
knowingly. The reason for yielding is
irrelevant, the main point is the awareness and honesty I came to realize. We all have done the same. The question then beomes, “how honest am I with me?”. When I posed the question, it was to cause others to reflect on their own levels of self honesty. Without self honesty, how DO we become true self leaders, how Do we help in bringing about the C of U, we all say we want to see, and be a part of? In my mentor class, we speak quite often of the mysticism we’ve endured since birth
and the lasting effects of living with the lies. I believe, the C of U will only become manifest, when we the members of NeoThink, live the honesty we claim to have, and cause others to do the same. It was indeed a good call tonight to me. To study my lines, reading the same story again and again, each time reaching a deeper level of truth, love, and most importantly-honesty. Stripping the crud of mysticism from my mind, allows the true beauty of NeoThink to shine. Ain’t life grand!!!
Peace,love,and prosperity to all.

Using Conatus to Slow Your Heart Rate – Becoming a Meditative Calm

I wanted to share some healthy information on Heart Rates. Ancient Philosophers described the will to live as: (Conatus) – described as being the force behind the will to live.

This force is both technical as pertains to mathematical computations when used in measuring the force of projectiles, and philosophical as pertains to early concepts derived from ancient Greek writings, and the later concepts derived from Aristotle and foregoing philosophies.

First Aristotle, then Cicero and Laertius each alluded to a connection between the conatus and other emotions. In their view, the former induces the latter. They maintained that humans do not wish to do something because they think it “good”, but rather they think it “good” because they want to do it.

In other words, the cause of human desire is the natural inclination of a body to augment itself in accordance with the principles of the conatus.

This concept is very basic and yet if grasped in completeness can help us to understand how we control the living aspect of our being.

A “State of Will” is more than a thought. It is a strong desire (emotion) based on a belief – as in the case of bodily control – a belief in ones own self to control the force of one’s own life.

So the Conatus of You can help you to see the force within you to change your state of being.

Here is some information about heart rate, and how to massage your heart function through both knowledge of its functions and the will of your desire.

There is a link at the bottom that provides a pictorial outline on how to use meditation to calm your inner being, reduce stress, and lower your heart rate.

Target Heart Rate

When undertaking an exercise program it is important to have a goal and a target range that you are trying to accomplish in each workout. To be of benefit, you want the workout to be neither too hard nor too easy. There is a simple formula to predict your maximum heart rate that is used in the fitness industry:

Take 220 and subtract your age.

This will give you a predicted maximum heart rate.

For example, if you are 42 years old, subtract 42 from 220 (220 – 42 = 178). This means that your maximum physiological limit as to how fast your heart should beat is 178 beats per minute.

Most exercise programs suggest that when someone is just getting started that their heart rate during exercise should not exceed 60 – 70% of their maximum heart rate. Therefore, given the example above, 60% of 178 = 107 beats per minute. As you progress in your exercise, the percentage of your maximum heart rate to be set as a goal can be gradually increased.

Calculating a target heart rate zone is often desirable. To do so:

Start with your maximum heart rate as shown above.

Multiply your maximum heart rate by 0.8 to determine the upper limit of your target heart rate zone (divide this product by 6 to get the rate for a ten-second count).

Multiply your maximum heart rate by 0.6 to determine the lower limit of your target heart rate zone (divide this product by 6 to get the rate for a ten-second count).

Example:

For a person 42 years old:

220 – 42 = 178 Maximum Heart Rate

178 X 0.8 = 142 Upper Limit of Target Heart Zone (142/6 = 24,10 sec. count)

178 X 0.6 = 107 Lower Limit of Target Heart Zone (107/6 = 18, 10 sec. count)

Note: Your maximum heart rate is the most your heart should reach after a strenuous workout.

Your Heart Rate should be measured during warm-up, halfway into your workout, at the end of your workout and at the end of your cool-down period. If during exercise you exceed your upper limit, decrease the intensity of your workout. Conversely, at the end of your workout if your heart rate is much lower than your target, you need to work harder next time.

Recovery Heart Rate

One way to determine if you are reaping the benefits from exercise is to calculate your Recovery Heart Rate, a measure of how quickly you return to your resting heart rate after a workout. To calculate your recovery heart rate:

Take your pulse ten seconds immediately after you have finished exercising. Write down the number.

One minute later, take your pulse again and write it down.

Subtract the number for the second pulse check from the number for the first pulse check. This number is your Recovery Heart Rate. The greater the number, the better shape you are in!

Chapter 86

Wow! What a chapter..My mind raced as I read this chapter. Many TSM’s, FNE’s,
pictures everywhere.
I read for Daniel, and in doing so, I strove to really get into him. It was so much more than lowering my voice to sound as a man..it is what I found while there. I felt his intensity. I worked to become President Daniel. I asked myself, how would he present himself to the world. He would speak with composure and certainity. He would speak from his heart. I studied his lines..to the point of reading again, books 1 and 3. I really tried to think as the leader of a new world, with all it’s complexities and hopes.
To switch into character of Sally, just
brought them together in a most unusal way to me. Sally and Daniel shared a different drive toward the same goal. They share a unique perspective, as doctor and benefactor. Sally, I feel, drove herself because she wanted to cover all the NGD’s before she presented her final pieces. Her attention to details made her almost a recluse..so focused is she.
I will add that while prepping for and reading these roles they helped me with some of the concerns I faced in my own life. For Charlene to appear at the right time, speaks to the world of “garagers” which will propel our future. I have had my own “garager” show up, and at the right time. I am able to see the light at the end of my tunnel.
For all who read this post, I ask that you join in the fun.Rehearsal are a hoot, with much laughter and learning done all at the same time. In my personal opinion, if you want a clearer picture of the future we strive for here within the Society..read a role. Get into character..you will grow, just as Sally says-geometrically. Doors will fling wide open, you will experience such exhilaration, as to be almost unbelievable..at least it did and does for me. As Bill remarked..you truly do see in pictures. You will see, what can be, and what will be.
I bid you peace, love and prosperity

Neothinkfriday

Elaine & Bill that was a great presention Miss Annabelle’s Secrets Chapter 86. In my opinion the group devotion and concentration on Project Sustain Life and SSL demonstrated self leadership and teamwork.

Chapter 85

Again, I am humbled and honored to read the role of Sally. This is truly one of the best things to happen in my life, reading and participating on these calls. I wish more would join in the fun.
The insight gained from reading on air, becoming my character, opens up to that “other”level of understanding. The entire trilogy has new meaning. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King-“I’ve seen..things”. The view through my eyes says the future is mine to capture..and it’s ours to enjoy.
I bid you peace, love and prosperity-
always
